The Best Blackstone Griddle – Diner Style Seared Ribeye Steaks TAKE TWO – Everyday BBQ Reviews 2019

I did this cook a few months ago and had some suggestions from viewers. I implemented some of those things to make a better video here! First, I made sure to show MY steak which was medium (my kids like well-done SORRY) and I also made some small cuts on the fatty edges of the steaks to keep them from buckling during cooking due to their THIN cut. We LOVE these DINER STYLE RIBEYE’S and the Blackstone Griddle KNOCKS THEM OUT OF THE PARK EVERY TIME! Amazing Sear action and juicy as can be regardless of how you cook them! Godmorn 8″ Chef’s Knife – Rust free German Stainless Steel

Ingredients Needed:

– Ribeye Steaks (we used fresh thinly cut)
– Your favorite steak seasoning (we used garlic salt and black pepper to taste)
– I also sliced some onions and griddled them to go along with the steaks


– Whether you’re doing these inside or out on a Blackstone Griddle like I did, be sure to get that griddle HOT (Medium-High Heat) and apply some oil, then allow that to get hot before laying the steaks down. Lay them down gently on the griddle (see video), then flip/cook them to your liking.
– Once they’re cooked to your liking, remove from the griddle and ENJOY with your favorite sides!!!

  3. Great video! Next time, throw some butter on the griddle with the steaks, top with thyme and fresh garlic and just baste it like crazy with that butter. I promise you'll love it!

  8. Nice steaks. And great tip with the fat, never heard that one. Here is a tip for really sweet onions. After they caramelize, put a little Balsamic vinegar on and let it turn to a syrup. About 30 seconds.

  11. Hey Mike. You may want to try this little tip. I keep my kitchen shears near by so I can snip any fat that’s causing the curling. The scissors cut quickly and don’t scar or scratch the cooking surface. Love your channel. Keep including your family in your videos. They bring out the best in you.

  12. my brother also has a blackstone and I agree those do look better. Gotta give me med rare. I get very annoyed at well done. Happy birthday to the boy and hello to your daughter, I noticed she was wearing a my little pony shirt. HAHHA I'b brony and proud of it. As for steak types I prefer NY strips at home. Ribeyes tend to be too fatty and not enough meat for my taste at least where we get em from Hy-Vee.

  28. Hey Mike rib eyes looked great, another tip on the curling, you can still cut them after they start to curl (cut them where they are curling) and they will lay down for you. I like mine medium rare but I cook over an extremely hot charcoal grill. The extreme heat makes the fat shrink to fast for the meat that's where you get that curl.
