  1. Everybody always says the same thing. On the front end its "Wow that seems like a lot of trouble." On the back end it's "That was the best steak I've ever eaten!" There's never a "I did it and…meh."

    This was a fun video from the opening to the end. You guys seem like you've known each other all your lives. Loved it!

  2. Is "Cold Grate" a misnomer? Because there is no way that you can spin that grate over a hot bed of coals and it goes "cold"…maybe less hot but not cold…

  3. I am a little late on commenting on this one, but I have the same set up including the thermometer. They do turn out fantastic! We did Tomahawks on our channel!

  4. Yes, but does this method work on a $20 ribeye , that we , as in most people can afford?

  20. Great Vid Mike! Did you rest between bringing them to temp and searing, or just take them off, oil and pepper, more charcoal and straight back on?

As far as the Worcestershire sauce goes I saw this on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and this guy could not say Worcestershire to save his life so he calls it wash your sister sauce I thought that was fantastic so that's what I call it all the time now. Here let's put on some wash your sister sauce, those steaks look fantastic keep up the great work brother

  26. Wow that looked awesome! Like Dave said the hardest part is going to get the steaks in advance. This method is by far the best method that I have tasted for an amazing steak. That extra bit of care is a game changer!

  28. You guys get an A+ on this one. Funny, Fun, and the steaks were gorgeous. I know there are many ways to grill steak on many different grills, but this way is at the top especially on premium cuts of meat which you had. I really like that new thermometer too.
